The Southwest Waterfront is the premier
development and construction project in the nation’s
Capital. Hoffman-Struever Waterfront, the master
developer, is developing the site that is located
along the Washington Channel in Southwest
Washington. The project will provide over 2.5
million square feet of new development –
residential, office, retail, hotel and cultural—and
will reconnect the Southwest quadrant of the city
with its waterfront with new parks, promenades,
piers, and view corridors. This project will be a
LEED-ND Pilot Project and all buildings will be LEED
Silver at a minimum. The project will be constructed
in 3 Phases beginning in 2010 through 2017.
Predevelopment and design of the project are
underway and will continue through the project
commencement.
